Fasting, when coupled with prayer, serves as a powerful avenue to draw us closer to God and provides clarity in hearing His voice. It is a focused time of seeking the Father's wisdom, direction, and intervention. 

“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:

to set the oppressed free

FRUITS AND VEGGIES

October 1-7

We are only eating fruits and vegetables this week. Water is encouraged to drink, or real fruit and vegetable juice. Please stay away from sugary beverages. 

LIMITED TELEVISION

October 8-14

We are limiting the amount of time we watch tv to only 7 hours for the week. This includes shows, movies, news, streaming, sports, documentaries, etc. 

NO MEAT, WHEAT, or SWEETS

October 15-21

We are eliminating meat, wheat, and sweets from our diet this week. You are encouraged to eat fruits, vegetables, beans, seeds, nuts, dairy, eggs, etc.

This week, we choose what to fast with God's guidance and approval.
